5 Minutes to Get Away With the Best Online Store

WordPress provides the gateway to a large number of websites and online storefronts.  Getting online store can be quick and easy. All you need to do is just install WordPress (which hardly takes 5 minutes to install) and a good ecommerce plug-in.

Plug-In With the Best

If you do not have the right plug-in, things might get tough while setting up your online store. It is indeed a difficult hurdle to surpass.  A wise decision would be, to make a list of the important requirements you need to have for your business. Pay attention to all the minute details.  The number of products you are going to put up depends on – whether it will be 10 or 100 products or whether you want promotional features for your product (promotional codes and coupons).

While you have a list of all the important business needs, look at some of the popular e commerce plug-ins that has scaled up the popular chart list.

1.  WP e–Commerce

This is the first Word Press ecommerce plug-in. For the past five years, WP e-commerce has remained one of the popular choices with over 2.5 million downloads and a large collection of themes on ThemeForest and its own website.

It is rated to be the most polarized with multiple star reviews than any other plugins. The best thing about WP e-Commerce is that its standard feature includes multi tier pricing made for quantity discounts.

2.  WooCommerce

WooCommerce runs second in the line when it comes to the number of download made per year.  WooThemes created this feature rich plugin. You can avail it free and there are other free themes specifically designed for the store plugin integration.

WooCommerce will work on any themes, although WooTheme provides you with a purchasing theme and plugin to get a premium support.  The maximum number of themes and plugins are directly made available from WooThemes and other sites like ThemeForest and CanyonCode.

If you have simple products to sell and you do not require a customized theme, then WooCommerce is the ideal plugin to work with.  However, with premium plug-ins, the cost can scale upwards.

Good amount of development is needed to create pages for custom products. This is a downslide feature of WooCommerce. However, they provide a good availability of interesting features like offer coupons to help them promote on social networking sites.

3.  PayPal

This plug-in is the simplest one developed by Tips and Tricks HQ. This is fast and is a simple way to start receiving payments through credit cards, once you open a PayPal account.  It takes only a slight cut for every transaction.  What is good regarding PayPal is that everyone is familiar with it.

With PayPal, you can freely transfer the money to bank accounts, obtain a debit card; which will take from the PayPal balance and spend the money earned with other PayPal merchants.

PayPal was originally developed to automatically deliver purchased digital files to customers.  Physical products are also sold through PayPal.  You can get hold of a particular customer’s shipping information during a checkout here.

The PayPal button can be used to provide a particular URL on your website.  This is to verify and to process the transaction, thus providing customers with digital downloadable product.  Doing this requires skills like bug testing, programming knowledge, etc. However, if you do not have that knowledge, no need to worry since the software eradicates all those problems and makes it available free.

PayPal is IMPORTANT. Shopping without PayPal is like “Whaaaaat? Seriously?” it’s easier for customers around the globe to use PayPal in my opinion, so I think it’s wise to install this plug-in.

I am all for WooCommerce. I have seen it used successfully. I also admire the simplicity of adding images and carts. At a point in time I tried it and it worked great. For the rest of the plugins, I guess they work effectively. Sure, it would be wise to test each and compare with what I am used to 😀
    Thanks for the list!

I left the above comment in kingged.com where I found this post.

  14. I will Nisha 😉

    Quick idea.
Could you make a post about in these days acceptable backlinks by Google?
They’re saying, you CANNOT comment blogs anymore, it’s to spammy, you cannot guest blogging, profiles… etc., etc., etc.

What you think about that? How to make white hat backlinks in these days? Because in any event millions of websites from all over the world gets about 55% traffic from Google! From social media only 5%!! Absurd.

    Thanks, Tomas

  15. Hi Tomas,

Yes sure, I will do this.

I am not agree with you. Blog comments and guest blogging is a natural way to create backlink.

We can make white hat backlinks through blogs, forums and though guest postings. I will soon publish an article about this.

Hope this will be helpful for you.

    keep visiting.

    Have a nice day!
